I am a freelance Dance and Movement Artist specialized in performance, choreography and facilitation. I have extensive experience choreographing and performing in various settings, such as music festivals, theatres, outdoor spaces, screen projects and clubs. I play and experiment with props in my work, and wearing big costumes and masks that can be manipulated and used as props too. I really enjoy audience interaction, and bringing to life characters through physical theatre and characterization, as well as giving agency to audiences in order to shape their own experience and find their own voice through my work. In my practise, I bring elements of voice and singing, as a tool to research and perform, and a way to tell stories; folklore and mythology have always been a huge part of my art. I work a lot with improvisation which allows me to adapt my performances and choreographies to a variety of settings, and allows space for audience interaction. It is also my way of staying true to my body and mind needs, and connecting with the space and time I find myself in. My practise is influenced by somatic practises, as tool of researching, developing and delivering work. Through my work, I look at the intersection of somatic movement, ecology and ecofeminism. Art for me is communication and that is what I try to promote through my work; how to bring people together, how to share the space around us, how to experience as a collective, how to form a community.
