Sophia is a Female artist with an education in Design and Costume. "My work is multimedia; involving the production of costumes, sculpture and installation to create pieces that engage the body within a given space. My practice looks at body-mind centring, and I aim for my work to be an exploration of the viewers senses, movements and emotions. I hope to bring people together to create positive experiences for people that allow them to connect with each other, themselves and their environment, through the use of the body.

The body is home is an interactive sculpture that puts three participants in three different body positions, responding to the three stages of metamorphosis of a butterfly. The piece uses mirrors on the internal structure to reflect the colours of the outside environment. This reflective centre creates an intimate, internal space for people to reflect on the external world. "
